1989 Jeep Cherokee Laredo (2-door)

Car Bidders Club presents the opportunity to own a very rare, White over Grey 1989 Cherokee 4WD Laredo (XJ) with a very difficult to find 2-door option. Under the hood this XJ is powered by a 4-liter inline-six cylinder paired with 4-speed automatic transmission. The car was acquired in 2018 and fully restored to stock condition.

The rusted areas have been addressed and currently this Laredo is rust free, fully re-sprayed to the original color. Gearbox overhaul, engine replaced with a period correct, pre-used one which was used for 112,000km where the current odometer reading shows 214,000 miles and this Jeep has been driven a mere 500km after the engine replacement. The radiator has been replaced, new battery, new fuel filter, reusable K&N air filter, spark plugs, spark plug wires, Eurospec headlights (originals will be given to the new owner).

The White paint is complemented with grey lower body cladding, fender flares, and pinstriping, while exterior trim still carries the chromed side mirrors and grille work. Overall condition is very good considering the age and usage that it has been subject to. During the restoration the factory sunroof has been deleted. This Laredo still contains the factory roof rails with cross bars, a rear wiper, and bumper-mounted driving lights (needs to be re-connected).

The interior is fully stock and original with grey cloth and vinyl with matching door panels, carpets, and plastics. All presented within great condition. Factory amenities include power seats, air conditioning, power locks and windows, original AM/FM cassette radio with high end Jensen sound system, a digital clock, center console storage, a lockable glove box, and a rear window defroster. The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a console which includes RPM, Speedometer, Oil Pressure (currently not operational), Battery Voltage, Fuel Display and Engine Temperature gauge.
